Jane Stoeck is a retired Civil Engineer with over 25 years of experience in the design and construction of both small and large civil infrastructure. She began sewing at an early age and continues to study under a European-trained couturier.
She applies the engineering process to all of her custom pet apparel projects. In the planning phase, she uses industry best practices to accurately measure the pet’s body for a perfect fit. Jane works closely with the pet’s owner to determine the desired functionality and an appropriate budget.
In the design and construction phases, quality methods and materials are used throughout. Jane’s designs are original, constructed with the safety and comfort of the pet in mind, and intended to fulfil the emotional needs of pet owners to dress their animals well for family activities including pictures, special events and the holidays.
On February 16, 2017, Jane’s business plan to create and market couture pet apparel was awarded the top prize for creativity by the Small Business Development Corporation of Colorado in the statewide Leading Edge Business Plan competition.
